So you need to show at least $46k. Profit from business is not proof of funds, nor is any cash in business accounts. Since the business is in your name only then why come to Canada and spend so much money on education. How can you justify the costs without enough personal funds and taking a loan? Focus on increasing your funds without loans and then reapply.

No news since then ..... I think an IRCC officer opened our file and forgot to click 'submit' after making the decision.

You are right. From my experience, generally, a response comes within a few days after a ghost update. Sept start, hence anxious...need to arrange for flights, accommodation etc..Has background and eligibility even started or been completed?
Response received rejection for financial reasons. But we already showed almost 120 K CAD, and explained all the reasons in detail.
Who is we? How old are you? How much did you show in cash in the bank plus tuition? How long is program? Personal accounts only in cash.
I submitted my study visa application on 25th July and completed my biometrics on 28th July.
The current processing time for my country (India) is 3 weeks, which will be completed by this Friday.
So far, I’ve only received an update confirming that my biometrics were received. There’s been no progress showing under other sections such as background check or medical.
My classes are set to start on 5th September, and I’m wondering if I’m likely to receive my visa in time.
Is anyone else facing a similar situation or experiencing delays?
