I just assumed that if the option is there to try and extend your work permit based on the fact im waiting for my express entry invitation then it would be possible, why else include the option on the form? 518 is my score. Doesn't it mean that you could get a bowp?

So you have applied for a fake extension so hopefully you get ITA before you get refusal. You cannot get BOWP if you don't have a valid work permit or if permit expired more than 90 days past expiry. Last CEC draw was 534. When does permit expire?
My work permit expired a few months ago, but i applied for the extension a month before it expired to which i then got that letter, which was also 7 months after i applied for the express entry
If you applied or EE then you got ITA? If you got ITA why not BOWP? If not what is your CRS score.
I dont understand any of your questions. I haven't got an ITA, I applied for express entry but i dont have an invite yet. I've already told you my CRS score, its 518.
You submitted a profile, not applied for anythng. Last draw was 534 so don't plan on ITA anytime soon. You will not be eligible for BOWP.
Is there also an average timeline for how long it takes for them to get round to these extensions? Its been around 3-4 months since i applied for the extension. Feeling sick from this new realization that I'll have to leave any time now.
You are only eligible for BOWP if you got ITA, applied for PR and received AOR. And if WP refused and expired more than 90 days ago then not eligible. Should get response soon on extension. Letter will tell you if you can even restore status to visitor or if you will have to leave.

What is your NOC? What province? Most apply for closed WP as fake extensions which are denied much faster. The only reason you likely haven’t been denied already is because you applied for an OWP which has a long backlog and IRCC hasn’t been looking for the fake extensions although have seen a few cases like this so they may start if this is starting to be a well known strategy to remain in Canada bit longer.
I See I didn't know that, is there a typical wait period for that? (sorry i know wait times must be the most asked question on here). What a living nightmare this all is though, I only came here to be with my girlfriend who is from Canada. NOC is 50011, Ontario. Does your TEER category help with this or something?
Is your GF a citizen or PR? Are you common law? Are you eligible for OINP with job offer, EOI score, NOC and region (outside GTA)>
Shes a citizen. We aren't common law or married. I don't want to get married and use that for a green card so to speak. I dont know what EOI is sorry and i dont have an OINP. Toronto is where i live and work
