Yes, I am surprised as well, that is why I posted to share that you don't need everything marked completed to get your oath ceremony date. May be it will be completed in the next week or two :)
I don't understand this at all. As per https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-i...stake-on-physical-presence-calculator.636774/ there's no discretion to approve the application if the days are short. The only way I can see this working out for you is if you somehow have an extra 52 days that you didn't know about that the officer checking the application finds.

How did you even submit the app? I thought the online portal wouldn't allow you to submit an application if your physical presence was short of the required 1095 days..

Also relevant, see https://www.lexology.com/library/detail.aspx?g=fcd0650c-a8c4-4b7d-9734-360543e21cbe for an example where a person failed the citizenship requirements, but was still granted the oath in error, and later had their grant of citizenship revoked.

Ditto with https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toro...p-revoked-after-32-years-amid-error-1.7196530 (although this isn't with a grant specifically, but it shows that even if they discover the mistake years later they will still revoke.)

is the physical presence days 1043 a typo?

There has been no update on the tracker since the i took the test on July 11. I called IRCC today, and the agent confirmed that the test has been completed and the Fingerprint has been received. The background verification is currently in progress, but the LPP has not yet started.

The agent advised me to clear cookies if the online tracker is not updating. I cleared the cookies and even checked from another laptop, but the tracker status remains the same.

At first I thought no, because that OP replied expressing surprise that OP's application made it this far.

But thinking it over, if 1043 is a typo for 1093, and OP also made the mistake of not including eligible partial days (and finally perhaps OP applied on paper for some reason, e.g. because OP is in the Canadian Armed Forces or had a spouse who is a Crown servant)... then it's a bit more plausible that OP unknowingly has 1095 or more days.

Because the citizenship officer does have discretion to redo the calculation and check to see if some days that were excluded should be included, and if that puts the applicant above the minimum physical presence requirement, then the app can still be legitimately granted.

Looks like applications submitted from Quebec are getting processed faster!

That CBC article is absolutely wild

Did anyone call ircc recently to ask about security? I think most May AOR people are probably in the same security check batch. We can keep updating here
