Should I send another webform to inform IRCC about this expiry, or will it create a bad impression?

You can certainly try but processing times and approval were never guaranteed so you should have applied earlier especially if you wanted to have 2 legs of your trip.

They are undergoing normal processing so pointless to submit a webform. It can take a few months for the outcome of a TRV.
