No update in tracker. Received email only.

just wondering for those who submitted fingerprints to IRCC before, do you get any kind of confirmation that IRCC received them? or does the tracker just update later on?

the guy who took mine was kinda careless (i had to correct his typos myself) so now i’m a bit paranoid whether he submitted my application number properly. since there's a 30 day window, i wanna make sure it actually went through and won’t delay my application. i think my best bet is visiting the agency again and ask in person :D

anyone else been in the same boat?

Received test invite email, looks like everything worked out without any issues. But I don't see any updates on my tracker since the AOR.

it seems Tracker is not working fine since 15th July, people have been unable to even activate it after receiving AOR(June ones).

the may applications seems to be moving slowly.. I am checking once in a week or sometimes in 2 weeks but the timelines seems to be slow across.
is it the citizenship process itself is moving slowly now compared to 2 months back?

Im also wondering If I should book for a November/december vacation or wait to not have a changed citizenship by then?
It is moving slower, but not horribly slow (it was going very fast at the start of the year). The other factor here is that everyone has differing situations, be it in their application, or where they are being processed, or where they are from and if background checks are easier (if you read back Singapore and India create some delays I believe)

I have a vacation planned for the start of October... and when I put the tracking data into AI and it said I could probably expect an oath ceremony around October. So if it clashes, I'm just planning on delaying that final part until my return.

But to your question, I dont see your handle in the tracker. But I think booking a holiday around then would be pretty safe based on current timelines ... but that is also factoring in you not having any issues.

Congrats. Still waiting BTW do you does everyone get FP request or if you provided it in last 10 years you don't need to provide it?
I believe if you have provided in the window (I think it is 10 years) - you wont get a request. It'll just update in the tracker randomly with some other things all at the same time.

Not sure about the rule, I had my FP back in 2017 when I applied for my PR, I guess because my FP are valid till 2027 that’s why I haven’t been asked to do it again.
I was thinking about this but we provided FP in 2021, yet we received FP request this time.

So... I requested a paper certificate with my application, and I just noticed was just charged on my credit card for it last week. I'm guessing that is a very positive sign (hopefully). Especially at this stage of the process.

At least it’s reassuring to know that someone is working on your file — definitely a positive sign. :)

I am afraid my application has fallen into the non-routine category. can't confirm this as IRCC agents are totally useless.

The wait time for the invitation also depends on your situation and our current processing time.
  • For example, you may wait longer if your application is non-routine.

You applied slightly over two months ago. At this point, you're getting yourself wound up about nothing.
