How do I get invited by MPNP under strategic recruitment initiative?

I had submitted my EOI application under Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway back in May, at the time they had only done selection for Skilled Worker Overseas candidates, and as it appears they have started selecting candidates under Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream again back in June 26th.

I looked at the scores and the lowest score was 712, while my score is 847 points, so I didn't understand why I wasn't selected.

As I read more about it, it stated that:

"Profiles submitted under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway or the Skilled Worker Overseas pathway that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative."

I didn't notice any checkbox or option for Strategic recruitment initiative when I submitted my application.

How does one get invited under strategic recruitment initiative? Is there a list of jobs that qualify for a Strategic recruitment initiative?

Strategic recruitment is through trade like missions is specific countries so there will be no check box.. You cannot be selected unless you go through the recruitment and get job offer through eligible company. Last missions were in 2023 so those people have been waiting a while.

If you're eligible under Skilled Worker in Manitoba and have strong ties (like job, education, or family), your turn might still come in the next draws. Keep your profile active and up to date!
