Yes. For every application, it has a principle applicant and then the rest included are called "dependents".

rest are dependants, but how is VFS supposed to know how many are dependants and what is their name. We know in PGP there is only one dependant but If IRCC is only giving one letter with principal applicant name and without any detail of dependants, then there is a confusion

I thought the same but VFS India spoke to me and said they cannot accept passport of dependants because there is no details of any dependants on the letter that is only addressed to the principal applicant.. Just like biometric letter which is separate for principal and dependant, they are expecting separate letters.

I have raised a webform and IRCC say everything is in order without actually answering my question and they suggested, I should apply for technical webform....Seems like i am stuck between IRCC and VFS-India.
I will raise a webform, asking IRCC to email passport request form for principal, and asking to include dependant information

Regarding the Final Decision, how did you know you have an update on Portal about the FD, was it an email sent to you beforehand ? so you know you need to check Portal to see what was updated on Portal ?

I think because i have portal access, I only receive an email stating that there is a message for me. that is when I check the portal to see one or more messages. I think this is how it supposed to work. My portal says final decision but no hint of that in the email.

I know another person in same PGP, who does not have portal linked to application and they got all their documentation via email.

There was one message in my portal, which was the passport submission letter addressed to the principal applicant and clearly states that we need to submit ( photos and passport) for accompany family members too. My current challenge is getting VFS Mumbai to understand this. They refused to collect the passport of dependant ( my mom in this case) because they think there should be another letter addressed to my mom
I am trying to get this confusion resolved soon.

It’s the PR portal 1 and 2, the steps after getting the final decision of your PR application. P1 confirms whether you are in Canada if you declared you were in Canada. P2 is the confirmation step before receiving PPR/COPR or eCOPR

My parents are here on super visa. I think they referred to the medicals submitted at time of visa application.
