Did you communicate with them about this? What did they say if you did?nothing, its over 10 months for me since AIP. very exhausting wait

Did you apply within quebec and then leave Quebec? Im a bit confused by why you said that.Hi guys,
I have applied for H&C on the basis of best interest of child, establishment, family violence in my home country.
I’m currently out of status since 6 years and don’t have any removal order.
Applied on June 2024
Biometrics done in July 2024
Haven’t heard anything since. It’s already been 13 months. Hoping to hear something in the next couple of month. Going to be living outside Quebec. I did see the processing time to be 24 months. Is it including both stages or just aip?
How long does Aip usually take?

It will take two years at least to get AIP.Hi guys,

It depends on how the filtering office rated your applications urgency and how complete your application was. This applicant has best interest of child and family violence which should realistically process it faster. However, they have been out of status for 6 years so its possible that its already in the reject pile….It will take two years at least to get AIP.
I am just sharing my experience so they can have an ideaIt depends on how the filtering office rated your applications urgency and how complete your application was. Let’s see if it actually gets rejected or not. I have been living in Ontario since I came to Canada. I have been working while I’m out status and I pay my taxes as well for the money that I make. I have filed exemption for unauthorized work as well.It depends on how the filtering office rated your applications urgency and how complete your application was. Okay but you do understand that this is completely against Canadian law? I wouldnt go bragging about working illegally….Let’s see if it actually gets rejected or not. I understand and I’m not bragging. Not sure where your idea of being out of status =possiblity in rejection pile come from.Okay but you do understand that this is completely against Canadian law? I wouldnt go bragging about working illegally….
Its one thing to be out of status for 6 years, and even worse to work the entire time. Its just really not good for you case at all its highly illegal actually.I understand and I’m not bragging. Not sure where your idea of being out of status =possiblity in rejection pile come from.
I understand what you are saying but how am I supposed to survive if I don’t work? I pay my taxes and requested for exemption for unauthorized work. I’m not proud of it Unfortunately there was no other way to survive..Its one thing to be out of status for 6 years, and even worse to work the entire time. Its just really not good for you case at all its highly illegal actually.
