Hi everyone, I am going to apply for Super visa for my mother. I am confused regarding which portal to use. I have been reading that there have been higher rejection rates for applications in the new portal. Is that true?
Should I use the old portal or new portal to submit the application? Is there any difference in processing times between the two portals?

I don’t think it matters which portal you use. Were you able to find a statistic proving that there are more rejections using the newer portal?

I applied for my Super visa in January 2025 from Islamabad, Pakistan. Processing time was 75 working days which ended around mid April. They asked for some additional info, which I provided and they acknowledged. I have heard from them after that. The status shows 'In progress'. Thanks.
Thank you for your reply, back in the days processing time was 75 days now it’s 155 days . All i hear from them is her medical is in process. I hope I will hear soon .
Urgent Recommendation / Advice Needed:
My parents applied for a Supervisa, and both were approved and got their visas stamped. However, when they arrived at the airport, my mother was denied entry, and they said her visa was cancelled.
There was no update in the IRCC portal and no email notification. Her online account still shows "Final Decision: Approved" and a message saying "Send your passport to finalize the application."
I called IRCC, and the agent confirmed the visa is showing as cancelled, but he could not see any specific reason for the cancellation. He said he will submit an urgent request to investigate further.
What could be the reason behind such cancellation without notice?
What should I do next in this situation?
Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Omg !! This is not fair , immigration officer should tell you the reason. Pls keep us posted
You can reach out to your local MP to involve in your case. It might help. I am sorry for your situation. This is too weird of ircc to cancel visa.
