Did you order CBSA notes?Same here since June 2023, my SS started from Dec 2023!
There is a backlog even in court for considering Mandamus.
seems like they are revenging people based on their nationality.

Have you ever ordered CBSA notes to see where they are at?I have a bad news for you, Im on 19 months since they are doing my background check, comprehensive security with no any update of feedback. My MP did found out that they are doing military verification and irony is that I didn't even been in regular army I did civilian service helping disable persons.
They have already started the petition for the Iranian people. Check it out: https://chng.it/DgxrNLNFR8Hi, I am under SINP too (Iranian), submitted PR application on Feb 27, 2024, asked for CV and military records in October 2024, comprehensive security started 24 October 2024, not a single update since then (9 months).
It's doesn't matter however if they requested any form like background decoration form , you should mention in that otherwise no need to inform.@Miss bee hi,
I have a quick question, I submitted my non-express pnp in july 2024, received AOR in dec, Medical in Jan, since then no update. From the past two months, I have been working on a second job along with my primary job. Although I would be quitting the second job soon, so should I inform IRCC about this job which I did for 2 months or it doesn't matter?
thank you! It's doesn't matter however if they requested any form like background decoration form , you should mention in that otherwise no need to inform.
@Miss bee i need your advice as soon as possible. I am currently my back home country since 6 months and i have not updated my address. Doing so would it make my PR file inland to outland? Also what if ircc ask me ADR like paystubs ,bank statements and emplpyment letter as they are mostly asking to everyone before finalizing what should i give them because i am not working and my status has been expired. Am out of status as its in my gcms notes too. An explanation letter would work if i get those Adr too?
1.Will updating your address switch your PR file from Inland to Outland
Yes — potentially.
If you filed an inland PR application, IRCC expects you to remain in Canada while the application is processed. If you update your address to an address outside Canada, this may:
2.
- Trigger IRCC to reclassify your application as outland, which could lead to delays, a transfer to another visa office, or in some rare cases, refusal if eligibility for inland status was a condition.
- Raise red flags if they see that you are not physically residing in Canada anymore.Advice: If you’re returning to Canada soon, it may be better not to update your address until you’re back. Inland applications are for those who are physically present and plan to stay until the PR is processed.
If IRCC requests ADR (Additional Documents) like paystubs, bank statements, or employment letters, what should you do?
Since you mentioned:You are not working
You may still get ADR, especially to confirm you are genuinely residing in Canada (as required by inland apps).
- Your status has expired
- You’re currently outside Canada
- GCMS notes show you’re out of status
What to do:
- Write a detailed Explanation Letter (LOE) explaining:
- Why you’re currently not working
- Why you’re out of status
- Why you had to leave Canada
- That your intent is still to settle in Canada permanently
- Any steps you are taking to restore your status (if applicable)
- If you’ve already applied for restoration or plan to return soon
- Provide any documents that show ties to Canada:
- Lease agreement (if still valid)
- Bank accounts still active
- OHIP (if still covered)
- Any correspondence or efforts to maintain ties
If IRCC believes you abandoned your inland application, they can refuse it.
3. Out of Status — What does that mean for your PR application?
For inland applications, you are supposed to maintain valid temporary resident status in Canada. If you’re out of status:
- It does not automatically cancel your PR application
- But it weakens your case — especially if IRCC thinks you’re no longer in Canada or have left permanently
Recommended actions:
- Consider applying for a Visitor Visa to return to Canada if eligible
- Or apply for restoration of status (within 90 days of losing it, if applicable)
- When you’re back in Canada, update IRCC and explain your temporais This from h

To add your spouse to your application, it can take multiple weeks or months. There is no certain timeline for that . It can take 1-6 months sometimes too . Make sure you provide PCC and medical for your spouse as they will be asking that soon .@Miss bee
I have added my spouse on 14th Feb 2025. after that I received my PAL and background check is completed on 3rd April 2025. I have been waiting for any update since then. I have noticed multiple ghost update on my tracker , however tracker has stopped showing updates now. I called IRCC and tracker is not showing inquiry update. Any idea how long generally it takes for spouse to be added to file ?
