Okay interestingly, I got my interview email (Teams interview). I also got another email to submit all pages of my passport. I'm a little unsure now if I need to do this before the interview or if this what they're going to check during the interview. A little redundant. But to be safe guess I'll resend all passport pages. Although I had already sent this in the initial application!

Better to resend it now and expect an update during or 2 days after the interview. Better to be safe than sorry, it costs nothing.

Spouse had to do this. We hadn't submitted all pages (b/c they don't ask for it), got the request, sent them weeks before the interview.

Then had the interview - went fine. I'm pretty convinced the officer hadn't and didn't look at the scans we'd sent.

It's just standard operating procedure, I think, when they schedule an interview for physical presence/background reasons. But you still have to submit them, even if they already have them.

So they emailed me cause they wanted to verify entry and exits which I did reply to with a recalculated presence which they had asked and my full passport copy

They replied the following day saying that I am missing enteries on my presence calculations which is not the cause it was already on it but as it was a visitor status it was in the temporary status section not the absence from Canada

I really don’t understand how they work and not use their heads

Anyway recalculated showing irrelevant information to show up on the absence section as it wouldn’t be counted anyway as i was a temporary status but now waiting for them to hopefully update the system

The follow up emails were from Scarborough so hoping things will be a bit faster now fingers crossed

Yesterday got an email to send the copy of passports for me. Last week they sent it for my wife. Lets see if things are getting moved.

It’s been a week (not counting Canada Day holiday) since LPP for my wife. No invite yet.

My invite followed about 3 days after LPP if I recall correctly. Strange.
