Hey I am in a similar boat. I applied with 1096 days as well. Got my Language completed on June 7, but Physical Presence and Prohibitions pending since then. They never asked me for any passport scans or interviews though. I have had 11 trips since becoming PR, but the CBSA entry/exit records matches exactly what I put in the application.

Did your request for passport scans came right after your Language was updated to complete? Did it just come via email?
All (the passport copy request and language completion) happened on June 25 and updated on tracker on June 27 at the same time. Just note that one part of prohibition is physical presence so don't expect for its completion until they figure out physical presence. For me everything else is completed (BG, security, language, etc etc...) just waiting for physical presence. As I said before applying on 1096th day was a huge mistake on my end which caused this unwanted delay. It is an eligibility issue so it is taken seriously. I should have waited 2-3 days and then submitted to have a buffer. Anyways, it is a done deal and we have to just wait. I am waiting for snail mail to deliver the package to IRCC. They are on off/on strike with shortage of staff so an express 1-day mail is taking a week! Unbelievable! Imagine how many days/weeks it is gonna take for the officer to receive it and process it. I am expecting my oath wayyyyyy down the road.

Thanks for the reply! It might take close to the whole 10 months processing time to check everything, but it should be fine if you're sure about your days! At least we're half way done with the processing time!

Got oath update today! :D Scheduled for July 14.

Any January applicant waiting for LPP to complete???

Me and my spouse is still waiting on LPP completion. My spouse got his last update which is citizenship test on March 18th. I had FP request and my last update was BG in May 18th. At this point, I do check everyday but I don't know what's causing the delay.

We both have like 1600+ days presence in Canada and he's been in the country for more than 10 years.

Application Date was Jan 28th and AOR received on Feb 20th.

Hoping it comes this month :)

Nothing for almost 4 months. At the beginning of August, I'm going to reach out to them and see if I can get an update. I've been going by the timeline of my when initial application was submitted (which was 8 months processing time). Fingers crossed it's sooner rather than later.

You are actually mistaken here—it's the currently published processing time that's applied to our applications. We don't “lock in” the processing time at the time of submission. I learned this by talking to an IRCC agent on the phone. If you call while your application is still within the current processing time, the IRCC agent will mostly just tell you to wait.
