I really appreciate if someone can answer or share experience about this situation. My parents applied for visitor visa a month ago. As my father is a retired police officer, they sent a request to upload additional information about the military service. We uploaded it immediately but haven't heard from them since. Then we emailed and they said the application needs additional processing and we can withdraw if we want. Is it possible for the application to be rejected because he worked at police? In case if my father's one gets rejected, will that affect my mother's application? They applied together and mother as a spouse applicant.

Hey. I am in a exact same situation. Though their visa was approved last time I applied, I am wondering why they are asking for the second time.

Was also wondering how did your application go? was that approved?

Hi, It was a long journey, applied for myself in June 2023, and on 13 Oct 2025 got the final decision....."Weighing the factors in this application. I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay"
Anyways a long wait ended ,,,,life has lot more than this , it is not the end....
Sorry for sharing a bad news, but just wanted to thank all my colleagues who supported in this forum for over 2 years,, I wish luck to all for their visas

Hi Folks ! I got a request for uploading military records recently. I applied for my in laws TRV in Sep 2023. Can some one confirm what all needs to be uploaded. What i understand from the request is the following are needed:
1. Form 0104e
2. MilPolGovtTable which is attached with their request,

Anything else which I am missing? Also, what`s the ETA after this submission?

Hi All ! Applied in Sep 2023 for my in-laws and received the update this October 2025. The message mentioned it was approved and the passport was asked to be sent via VFS. The passport came back for my mother in law ( for 4 yrs only ) but the passport for my father in law ( who was the one with military background) is still with IRCC and its been a month. Happy for the one stamped but not sure what's happening for the second one.
