I am in a similar spot. Applied early 2025 for Super visa, application marked non routine. My dad served in the army for 3 years in his 20s and he is 71 years old. MP said its non routine and nothing can be done other than waiting

IRCC delay is cruel esp for our aged family members. Their travel timelines are limited after a certain age.

Hi! just wanna ask, how did your application go? I actually have the same situation like yours right now, applied for my father's visa but he does not have any record or certificates since it was 40+ years ago, and had served only for less than 5 years. Thank you!

They did a year and a half ago. I requested ATIP notes and its been two months and it hasnt been sent yet. Do you know how I can follow up on that?

what country are your parents from?

mine are 26 months... dad was conscripted when he was 18. So frustrating, I'm actually about to file Mandamus
