Changing course

I got my visa today for a bachelor degree in computer science and I was shortlisted for computer engineering (my dream course) and after I submitted my visa , the university gave me the offer for computer engineering. I didn’t want to update the loa because my sop was about computer science and I was scared of getting refused. I still didn’t accept my offer letter yet but I don’t want to leave such an opportunity. Both courses are the same duration same everything and I swear I am wasn’t trying to trick Canada or anything. Need help!!!!!

I am not , it’s the same uni. But I still haven’t gotten my permit because my studies is in September. Can I accept the offer and not inform IRCC?

I read that but my permit isn’t issued yet so didn’t know if that applied to me

Update your LOA via webform. You are not going to get a different result from IRCC based on the change of programs you mentioned.

Is it like necessary? I don’t see anything on the website indicating the need to update them and i don’t really care about how it will affect pgwp because I will come back after I finish
