I wanted to do 6month PSW program to help with my job search, but it states on my brown paper that I am not permitted to do so, is there anyone with same issue?

Anyone can study up to 6 months without a study permit, even a tourist.
Probably the claimant id (brown paper) states that it's not valid as a work permit/study permit/travel document, so for each situation you have to apply for the specific permit. But for up 6 months program, you don't need a SP.

Thanks for the response, I checked again and it wasn’t my brown paper that stated it, it was my work permit.

But can the spouse of a refugee claimant that is outside Canada apply for work permit?
