Today my MP gave this update on my case
Anyone know or has experience what they mean by additional verification required and how long does it take

- application was received March 2023
- ⁠eligibility has passed
- ⁠criminality has passed
- ⁠medicals have passed
- ⁠security is in progress, this will add time, additional verification is needed
- ⁠the request for urgency was refused unfortunately the criteria was not met

How come ur security is not passed yet?
I’m March 17 and my all assessments has been passed on my last GCMS notes on April 16 updated. File says “file is ready for CPO review”

So my dependent daughter who is a US citizen was refused protection so I applied to sponsor her as my claim was accepted. How can I renew her American passport which is still with ircc

It’s with IRCC or CBSA . Your daughter became permanent resident. Can we get passport before approval of permanent residency for a us child. It’s with CBSA
