Congratz i'm aug 2022 and probably gonna wait till mid 2026. (qc)

Well you know, I waited for 6 months, after my hearing they didnt answer same day. So I lost 6 months just waiting for the decission. I should apply on dec 2022 but they did that to me. So sad and unfair but what to do.
Hope you can get you PR before of 2026.
Good luck!

It would have been sad if you had been refused after 6 months given that there were some concerns about your file. Given the 6 months processing this was likely a potential outcome. Then you would have had to attempt RAD, JR, H&C, etc. with no guarantee of PR.

Well my case was well founded, what I think it takes long time to write the report. That´s what they said when requested for the decission. They told me the officer could take the longer 6 months to make the decission, well she took all the time available.
It´s supposed when they refuse, usually do it same day.

No if refused doesn’t have to be the same day. If anything refusals often take longer. Members don’t take 6 months unless they want to take more time considering the case and/or do more research before giving a judgement. You got approved in the end but there was clearly some concern so you gained time versus potentially being refused and having to file an RAD. All about perspective.
