Same boat and a similar timeline, but wasn't asked for any passport copies. Just PP in progress.

Did you have many trips? I had like a day or 2 buffer only.

I made 7 trips and had 8 days buffer.

What could possibly delay PP? I had multiple (3+ months) trips but physical presence should be accurate to the dot.

Perhaps there is a mismatch between our declaration and the entry/exit records they obtained from CBSA. I've never been this confused..lol

Or they can't find all the entry/exit data for you and are looking further. Or could be your application was selected for quality assurance check for physical presence.
There are a few scenarios and you'll drive yourself nuts trying to figure out why. This is why IRCC recommends that applicants apply with well over the 1095 days. If applicants have ample buffer days (e.g. 30+ days) then IRCC does not need to deeply scrutinize any possible date discrepancies because they know you'll meet the 1095 requirement. But if applicants traveled and then apply with exactly 1095 days or let's say a 5 day buffer, then IRCC would scrutinize date discrepancies to ensure the 1095 requirement is met.

I am starting to get really worried that there might be an issue with my application. Its been more than a month since my test was marked complete (Feb 21, 2025) and nothing has happened since. Background and LPP are showing in progress. I have not received any fingerprint requests or any communication at all. One the tracker it just says what to do if i haven't received the test invite which is not helpful.. I am using a representative for this application. They said it is still within regular processing time and to wait a little bit longer. I am not sure what to do. How long should i wait before any taking any steps. I want to try calling IRCC but i am not sure if that's the best idea or if it can have a negative impact on my application. Also not sure how to reach them. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why is a representative needed for citizenship application? is it more beneficial?

Or just wait some. If it's within the estimated processing time, it's within the estimated processing time and no obvious signs anything wrong. Not all applications will be processed faster than average - in fact, less than half.*

*Okay, technically less than half faster than the median.

It's an interesting video but focused on temp visa like work and study. I believe PR abd citizenship application warrant more time and resources. I don't think the processes are the same.

Same situation with @WifeOfUSProgrammer. Test complete Feb 18. Tracker updated Feb 20.

Requested GCMS and waiting.

Sorry, bud. Probably won’t be around. He has to do early dinner due to another obligation and my normal time zone is 2 hours ahead of PDT. Maybe another time in another life.

completely irrelevant - this is student visa. This is not applicable to citizenship. They have a different workflow altogether

Applied from Toronto, all green since 1st of March but nothing after.. Waiting for oath for almost a month... I learnt my files transfered to Montreal. 2 of my friends applied with me got their citizenship in the beginning of March. Terrible..
