i'm inland and i have summitted my non express PR in Mar2024. I received AOR, ADR and all from my side. and from tracker i can see all green for myself.
however my wife is out land and Biometric and medical was approved, IRCC asked ADR as relation ship proof and PCC in Nov2024.
today i received ADR for medical again(non EDE) for my wife even though it was approved. they ask imm 1017e.
So my question: is it a good sign?
furthermore she is in healthcare background.
any thought on that and can i aspect any update soon? its been long wait

Good morning, I submitted my application back in August 2024, and receive my AOR and ADR in February, i submitted the request information by webform, and now is about 45 days since it, only receive an e-mail confirming the receipt of the my docs, not communication after that, should i contact them? our just wait? I was hopping the receive the BIL letter, but nothing until now.
You don't need LMIA . If there are no employer restrictions on your nomination certificate, you can apply for BOWP but if there are restrictions you have to apply to LMIA exempt Closed work permit .

Thank you very much for your quick reply. I think I am having an employer restriction on my nomination as it mentions my employer.
So could you please help me with the document list that I would need to apply for LMIA exempt Closed work permit? Also I have my spouse on open work permit and children on study permits with me here.
And also, my WP is expiring by the end of September 2025. According to your opinion, when is the latest I should apply for extension? We applied for PR on the 21st of July and have received AOR, PAL and Medical passed.

First, your employer has to submit a job offer through the employer portal and pay $230. This will generate a code that you'll need to submit with your WP application.

@Miss bee or any one can help with the query. I submitted my PR application based on OINP nomination, with the application I submitted my police verification report from India which is two years old. But during the last two years, I am only in Canada and visited India only for a month. Do I need to get a new police report of the old report submited is OK?
