This may be a dumb question, but: Once your Physical Presence section is marked “Completed”, is it still possible to get an RQ or request for copies of additional passport pages? Or does “Completed” mean that everything is truly done on that section and all of the Physical Presence requirements have been satisfied, with no further documents or anything else required for that section?

Anything's possible in theory, but if they've signed off on your physical presence, it would be very odd for them to ask for more detail on physical presence.

(Only exception I could think of is if some error found or somebody more senior at the decision made /final sign-off wants more detail checked. But we're talking extremely unusual stage here)

Does anyone in Vancouver want to meet for dinner near Gastown on March 25 or March 26? I want to try Meet in Gastown (I eat a vegan diet and I have never eaten at Meet).

My wife's application (@WifeOfUSProgrammer) is waiting for LPP after test completion (Feb 18), Calgary office. The application is being processed in Vancouver. She didn't get a FPR, unlike me. Mine has progressed to oath after going through test complete, then BG, then LPP.

Hers was BG complete, test invite+complete, now waiting on LPP with no updates since test complete.

We requested GCMS for her application on Sunday.

In the belief that when you thought about gcms, you immediately got the oath request, and therefore it might work for her?

Magical thinking, yes; but on the other hand, you never know.
No my GCMS was requested back on Jan 27 and the report was dated Jan 30, so I never believed that had anything to do with it. I have never believed the "request GCMS to make your case move" people. The ATIP team is a separate read-only team.

I read on here a case where someone's physical presence was completed they turned back to in-progress and they were asked for passport page copies. So in theory, they would take it out of completed status.

my test was marked complete on February 19th.
If you get the test invite before background completes, you're probably getting a fingerprint request; that's how it's worked for everyone I've seen with that sequence, including me. It's possible they sent one or should have sent one you haven't received. I would advise contacting IRCC to check on the status and if they are waiting on anything from you.

I know the processing times recently went up by one month.
This is for applicants applying now. Our service standard should be unchanged from our application time.

Yep - nothign's final until it's final and one is a citizen. That said - more or less the scenario I described, i.e. pretty unusual.

Also, this was from the judge during the the ceremony, they do a criminality check with CSIS, RCMP a day before the oath as well, they asked everyone at the ceremony if we were charged with anything between the decision date and ceremony.
