Maybe ghost updates happen whenever an officer goes into a file and then exits, even if no actual changes are made? So perhaps an officer was simply doing a final check on your file to see if everything is done/on track/needs attention.

I think it's probably related to what @DocumentJourney said. I forgot about the "decision made" step, which will not show up in the tracker, but will show up in GCMS. After I have my e-certificate, I'll request full GCMS for myself through IRCC and CBSA (to get the non-redacted version), so I can see all the data.

Anyone who gave FP and was mailed by RCMP on 28th Feb. Any update as my 30 days mark is 14th March.

If your 30 days pass, you can raise web form with the proof you got from the fingerprint agency with the DCN and let them know we are waiting on the RCMP mailing.

Done with the oath today, they specifically asked to apply for passport after 2 business days for the systems to get updated.

I assume for virtual oaths it will be 2 days after the e-certificate becomes available. Does anyone know? For virtual oaths, we have to send a signed form in after the oath in order for them to generate the e-certificate.

I have submitted my application on November 25, 2024 and got aor on december 5th. I got an email for fingerprints request on December 17, 2024. I gave them through an agency and RCMP said it was mailed on December 24, 2024. I still have background and prohibitions in progress. Fingerprint request was not on the tracker to begin with and there is nothing about it on the tracker. I dont know if they received it or not. I assume they would send me another email for FP if they haven’t received them. FP was requested via email only. Anyone else experiencing the same? I am not sure why taking this long. Language, Physical presence and test are completed only.

Request GCMS ATIP from CBSA and CSIS. Ask for all documents related to your application number and UCI.

Don’t bother with IRCC ATIP. That background data will be redacted.

Your background check is holding up background and prohibitions.

Its My turn now finally my background check is completed today morning. The update is from 10th March But I can see today.
