I landed in Canada in the last week of December 2022 as a student. After completing my 1 year of course, I applied for a work permit and worked for a year in Canada. My points right now are 512, including my 3 years of work experience from India and Canada. I am now at the 90-day restoration period after my work permit extension rejection. If I leave the country before getting an ITA, will I be considered an Inland or Outland candidate for CEC draws? How can I enter the country in both scenarios? please see that I have a TRV on my passport, which I applied for after I got my work permit, and the TRV has an expiry on my passport.

You'll be outland. You either need to successfully restore your status or leave Canada.

Thank you so much, What happens if I get the ITA, I accept that, can I leave the country then? and come back once the process is completed?

That's fine. However I would recommend you be outside of the country when you submit your complete application after receiving ITA. Don't be in Canada out of status when you submit your application.

How would that make a difference? And since I have 90 days to restore the status, what is my status as of now?

You are in Canada without status.
