Don't wait for them to ask . You should renew your passport asap and send them through webform . When they usually request they give you 30 days or 15 days to submit documents. I don't think so you can get new passport in that time timeframe.

My Pr Application is under PNP Non Express and I am the Primary Applicant on closed work permit & my wife who has open work permit is not able to find a job in the province from last 6 months and is jobless. Now recently she got job opportunity in other province, if she takes that job and move to other province will that effect my application in any way?

If there's employer restriction in your nomination letter, you have to apply for closed work permit through your employer.

I am pretty sure I have wrote “Not applicable “ in some of the field in my online application but when I download those IMM forms, some place is just blank instead of saying “Not applicable” what should I do in this case?

Hi there guys,

Upon checking different Q&As in the forum I realized that I might have missed a document at the time of applying. I recently submitted my PR application under the Ontario PNP (Non-Express Entry) stream. In my submission, I included the Confirmation of Nomination document but accidentally left out the Nomination Approval Letter since there was no part in the application that specifically asked for the Nomination approval letter, so I did not include it.

Will this be an issue, could they return my application for this? Should I wait until I receive my AOR to submit the missing document via Webform, or should I send it now even though I don’t have an application number yet?

I don’t think that’s a good idea. When you apply for PNP you show your intent to live in that province and by doing this they might question your intent. Also, these days IRCC is issuing lots of PFL so it’s better to stay in the province you got nomination from.

Don’t worry about it as you are allowed to keep on working until a decision is made in your application.

In my case, it was updated with the date in GCKey after a few days.

PAL with old medical: Nov 9th

Medical document number in the tracker says the expiry date Nov 13rd, 2024
Medical was blank on GCKey

Medical completed on the tracker: Nov 17th
Medical passed on GCKey: Nov 18th

I have a same question as well do we need to wait for 21 months if our file was submitted last year before November because timeline was changed later

I would say ASAP. Work permits based on provincial nomination are taking forever these days.

For your child documents, submitting the Canadian birth certificate is usually sufficient, especially if it clearly establishes their identity and parentage. However, some immigration programs may request all available birth records, including those from the other country of citizenship.
If IRCC hasn't t asked for the second birth certificate, you likely don't t need to submit it. But if you want to be proactive, you can send it via a web form, explaining that your child holds dual citizenship and attaching the second birth certificate.
