P2- 5 Feb
Feb 19- ECOPR email- Its ready to download.
When do you guys get the card dispatch email, is it right after the ECOPR email or you have to wait a few days?

I am really confused about these portal things. What are they?
My application status tracker says that my application was received on October 17th, and that's about it.
Can someone please explain how things work in IRCC for CEC applicants?

Portal mails (P1 and P2) are emails you get from IRCC after they make a final decision on your file, if you have applied from within Canada.

P1 asks you for this information:

• Name as it appears on your passport:
• Height in either centimetres or feet and inches:
• Eye Colour:
• UCI:
• Personal email (one for the whole family):
• Current residential address (apt #, street #, street name, city, province, postal code) :
• Personal phone number:
• Original entry date (YYYY/MM/DD):
• Date of last time you entered Canada (YYYY/MM/DD):
• Location of last entry (specify which Canadian border or Canadian airport):
• Are you currently inside Canada (yes or no):
  
  • If you are not inside Canada
    o  When is your expected return date (YYYY/MM/DD):
    o  In which country are you currently located:

P2 mail is an invitation to log in to the PR portal to confirm presence in Canada, your address and upload your photo for your PR card.

After this you get Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR).

AOR : Oct 25, 2024 (CEC - Inland, Healthcare)
P1 mail received & responded: Feb 11, 2025
P2 mail received & responded : Feb 12, 2025
ECOPR : Feb 19, 2025

I hope so too.... At this point I am questioning god, why is nothing happening in my personal life, work life or this PR Stuff like no growth whatsoever, apart from ageing!

I relate to this so hard! It's honestly so frustrating and disheartening. I cannot wait to be free from IRCC's chokehold smh...

No, not at all. October 17 AOR is only 4 months ago. Normal processing time could be 5 to 6 months.

Note: You will only receive P1 mail after they complete medical exam (if needed), biometrics, eligibility and background check. What is the tracker showing on those steps?

Another applicant just receive there eCOPR, following are the details:

CEC - Inland
ITA - 30th July
Aor - 29 August
P1 - December 11
P2 - December 13
COPR - February 19

No, not at all. October 17 AOR is only 4 months ago. Normal processing time could be 5 to 6 months.

My medical exam in completed. I did the biometrics on December 2nd, though, it still shows as "In Progress". Eligibility and Background Check are still in progress.

Last month, I received my P2, but there’s been no further response. Honestly, I just need one of my applications to be approved so I can renew my health card, driver’s s license, and access the Child Care Benefit from the CRA. The province has already given me extensions on my health card but has stated they won’t provide any more.
