Outland Sponsorship - Canadian PR Holder - Applicant in USA

Hi Guys,

I was wonder how log do I need to be in Canada to apply for Outland? I am living in USA and will move there but need to travel frequently outside after applying for my spouse's application. Do I need to be there for the entire time?

Also how long does the application take and what documents are required.

If you're a PR - don't apply until you've moved.

Short travel abroad after applying won't cause an issue. Longer travel might.

Being away 2-3 weeks a month is not living in Canada. You likely won’t even qualify for healthcare in your province based on how much time you will be outside Canada.
