I drive a truck. My license expired as well. Can’t renew my license either. Now I have no work no SIN. Just waiting for my COPR. But i was worried that will IRCC mind that I don’t have a work permit? Can this be an issue at all in getting my COPR?

To all the people getting P1 Twice, make sure that you are copy pasting template from the PDF sent by IRCC and not copy pasting from the email itself because back in August when I got my P1, I noticed that the template they put in the email don't include your home address and the phone no. on the other hand when you open the pdf and check the template the home address and the phone no. is also needed as these two are the most important things, I am not saying that this is the reason you got P1 twice but make sure that the template you send to IRCC is the one that you copy pasted from the PDF and not the one that you copy pasted from the email itself.
as long as you had a valid WP upon applying for PR, it's all good. Sadly this is going to become more common now with stricter rules and less draws with high scores.
why didn't you apply for BOWP before your WP expired? you could still work after your WP expiry then once you get ECOPR you could withdraw the application of BOWP and get the refund.
I had a work restriction in my SINP and if I had applied for WP extension that would have been a bonded closed permit(According to my consultant) Also didn’t want to work in the company I am working for right now.
So I thought I’ll just wait for my COPR should come soon. But unfortunately it didn’t and im still waiting.
I don’t still mind not working as long as my COPR doesn’t get affected.

I called them this morning. They just asked to respond to the second email as well and wait. Also, they said to ignore the "family class" and "do not reply" parts of the email. They don't have access to the information that it was delivered or not, so they asked to just wait.
Everything is a business and about making money why are we waking up everyday and going to work? Government is bringing more people in their country so that they can work and pay taxes, so that people can buy property and again pay taxes, so that we pay taxes on basically anything we buy at the end of the day it's all about money, if we delete the concept of money from society then the society will come to a halt, currency was invented in order to make people busy with their lives so that people cannot focus on the issues going around the world, it was always about money and 100 years from now also it will be all about money at the end of the day.
