Just opened my CRA account after updating SIN on 13th Jan and got below message

When contacting us, provide this message number. Have your individual tax return on hand and be prepared to answer additional questions.

I think I will need to create new account now
Just login and try to see and got the same error. I think its a sign that I can now create a new CRA account.

SO it means processing is still ongoing. Just eCOPR that is delayed.

since we know IRCC continues its usual operations, do we know that IRCC normally pauses issuing eCOPRs from time to time? If yes, maybe there is nothing unusual

I tried looking back a couple of years. They have never halted or took a break like this from issuing eCoPRs! Then again, it's IRCC and we all know how they like to work randomly!

I have searched too to see if something of this nature has happened before but saw no record. IRCC is unpredictable and the changing immigration landscape is making it worse.
On a second thought, I was thinking that hope the resignation of Trudeau and search for a new party leader and PM hasn't affected this?

ONLINE SERVICE HELP: The IRCC Portal online services will be unavailable from January 20th to January 21st, between 11:00 pm and 06:30 am EST. Be sure to clear your browser's cache when the service is restored.
Let's hope that after this maintenance, normalcy will return.

We still know IRCC stoped through the end of the year before since it reached the PR quota. So that’s a record. Luckily we know they didn’t reach the quota for this year

Trudeau resigning has got nothing to do with this. This is unrelated to immigration and especially eCoPRs. However, something is definitely going on that everyone is unaware of. As mentioned last week, there are quite a few cases that have been re-opened as well and the FD from GCkey and CoPR numbers from tracker were removed as well. Today some one else confirmed that one of the applications also got rejected even after P2 due to some employment issue. While, there are no constant issuance f eCoPRs, however, it seems IRCC is still working in all the other areas as per usual. Applicants are still receiving either ADRs, P1s or P2s, just not eCoPRs.

Let's just pray that this drought comes to an end soon!

This could also be one of the reasons. As they don't wanna fill out the quota so quickly. So I suppose, they might be even trying to scatter the eCoPRs here and there for every month. This could also be the reason why there is no new draw because they already have tons of P2s just waiting to be made PR.

Not sure if this can be true but in my thinking, the uploads will remain in portal until received by IRCC. Once IRCC receives them, they will generate ECOPR but since the officer hasn’t opened your portal for accepting uploads, it shows not received. Again not 100% sure how it works

Hi all,

Good luck with the PR process.

We are still waiting the P1 and P2 emails, which were submitted on June 4th. You can find all the relevant details in my signature.

Good morning, everyone,

I just called IRCC to find out my VO. It's Edmonton. The SVO is Vancouver.

Does Edmonton take more time than other VOs? I have seen people getting their P1s who applied around October 25-30.

I am still waiting for my P1.
AOR - Oct 17, eligibility in process since Jan 15, BIL Nov 28, BG in process since Dec 3.
