Imm5532 Sponsorship Evaluation_If the Sponsor was unemployed any time in last 5 years

In the sponsorship evaluation form IMM5532, in PART 'A' where they ask about the employment history of the sponsor for the last 5 years, if they were unemployed during the initial years of the last five years but are currently employed, do they need to provide a letter of explanation about how they supported themselves during the years of unemployment?

I believe its just a formality, the sponsor is employed now and has a stable income and is not relying on any govt help for past few years. I am not sure but you need to research it., that should be enough.
