Someone mentioned that a few applicants received their PR cards by mail without any notification, and the status on the PR portal never changed. Do you think the Canada Post strike might be causing this delay? I'm just wondering.

I don't think that the strike has anything to do with the eCoPR because it's literally a document that has to be uploaded by the visa officer so we can download it from the portal! For PR cards, of course, the delay is directly corelated to the Canada Post strike!

Member Of Parliament in your area!

Did not get you,but what can he do in this scenario and not sure even if they will meet us common man who are not even Canadian citizen for now ? Can MP really help in getting ECOPR ? Do you have any examples in past ?? Thanks

that was me and Canada Post is not causing a delay in P1,P2 or ECOPR's it's just too many applications that are slowing the process and I got my PR Card about a month ago and IRCC is still reviewing my Passport Photo and I am pretty sure when I check my portal next year it will still say in review.
