I emailed IRCC by replying on P2 email asking about the ECOPR processing as many people did the same. Hoping this would do something.

Does anybody know if you can go get the PR Card to the offices?
I got my ecorp on Nov. 14
P1 Sept. 27
P2 Oct. 7
Montreal Office

I need to leave the country been waiting since mid oct to be able to leave and come back and now with the strike? Does anyone have an email or num you can contact the offices cant find any onlune

I had a chat with three of my coworkers and two friends who recently became permanent residents. They mentioned that their ETAs and work permits are still showing as valid in their accounts. It seems that the IRCC doesn't cancel these documents once someone becomes a permanent resident. So, the airline should still be able to validate them.
It might show up as valid in an online account but when scanned, because it was administratively cancelled, it will probably show up as invalid at the border or at a check in counter.

The PR Cards are issued by the Sydney Office in NS and I don't think they would allow anyone to come and pick up their card.

Also don't rely on PR Portal to see if they have accepted your address or photo and now your card will be mailed, I received my PR Card on NOV 1 and by today on NOV 22, my status is still in review in the portal so I would suggest you to check your mailbox after the end of each week.

My feelings too….is there a “quote” of eCoprs to be issued per year?
Well they said they are taking 25 days to issue new PR Cards, the timeline might have changed now but I guess these 25 days apply to ECOPR's as well and these 25 days are business days so including 25 days and 2 days of holiday each week that accounts to more than 30 days but honestly I think for ECOPR's they have much bigger waiting period, after reading other people replies I think they expect you to wait 3 months for your ECOPR and before 3 months IRCC won't do anything to fasten your PR Process.

Oh ok. Sorry if my question wasn’t clear. I meant do they have some quota for issuing a particular number of eCOPRs in a year? I read on a different forum that most of us might get eCOPRs in January since 2024 quota of issuing eCOPRs is done? I don't want to believe this…
