hello @Miss bee,

i have 3 questions

i applied for PR under NON EE PNP (JOFW) on july 29, 2024. My question is it true that since i received nomination under JOFW my file will be processed slower than someone that got nomination under like OINP international graduate stream?

i got my medical done on nov 2023 would those still be valid or do i need to get my medical done again once IRCC tells me to, is there a chance where they might skip it all together? I haven't left canada since 2018

i applied july 29 for my PR but still didnt get AOR is that normal? and how long is the process after recieving AOR and doing Biometrics right away?

thank you so much.

My 2 cents:

1. Non-EE PR applications are all processed the same (as far as I know).
2. Not sure.
3. I applied on July 23 and still waiting for AOR (same stream as yours).

Hello @Miss bee,

I have a query regarding my current work situation. I am currently on a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) that is set to expire in March 2025, and I have received a nomination from the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (ONIP).

At present, I am employed by two different employers; however, my nomination is for a non-Express Entry application that is specifically tied to one employer.

Could you please confirm if I am allowed to continue working for both employers until my PGWP expires?

Thank you for your assistance. I look forward to your guidance

All applications are processed according to same timeline however there may be certain factors that may slower your application lots of travel history and other stuff or security checks .

You can use same medical exam you did last year. It’s still valid.

Currently AOR times is 3-5 months. You should call them or send them webform for Temporary file number.

thank you so much.

For IMM 5669 (Schedule A – Background/Declaration), the signatures required depend on who the applicant is and who is completing the form:
1. For the Principal Applicant (you):
• You must sign your own copy of IMM 5669 to confirm the accuracy of the information provided.

2. For the Dependent (your spouse):

• If your spouse is an accompanying dependent (part of the application), they must complete and sign their own copy of IMM 5669.
Key Points:
• Each applicant or dependent (18 years or older) must complete and sign their individual copy of IMM 5669.
• You cannot sign your spouse’s copy, and your spouse cannot sign yours.

Thanks lot for clarifying confusion.

Hello @Miss bee

I applied for PR through Non-EE PNP in Feb 2024. Medical marked completed in August 2024 along with ADR for letter of employment which was provided to IRCC and they confirmed. Security is "not started" under background check (other parts of it are completed). I believe no has touched my file since Aug 2024. Do know what can be the next steps? Is there anything I can provide to them to trigger someone to start looking at it? My ADR was from Etobicoke Office. Anyone with similar timelines?

I applied on July 30 and I think we are more or less on the same boat.

I hope we can receive the AOR at the beginning of next month

Hi, I have a question on photo request in P2. What is the requirement for that photo? What is the difference between the photo request when we applied in the GC account? Can we use the previous photo we used for the application?
Thanks!

Hey @Miss bee, I received my BIL and below Letter :

Employment records: An original and recent letter of employment
indicating the start date, annual or hourly rate of pay, regular hours per
week and recent paystubs .This must be received at this office by:
2024/11/26.

I have 3follow up questions on this letter :
  • Do I just need to submit current Employment Letter or all pastEmployment Letters(Because in GCKey it says all past employment letters) along with paystubs ?
    • What if some Employment letters takes more than due date ?
  • Do I need to include all in one document ?
  • How to upload that documents (In GCKey portal or via Webform) ?

@Miss bee Hello there, I was reading everything about PR, and I submitted my application last month. It seems like tons of applications are stuck in security check and could last from 6 months to more than a year. I wonder why that would happen. In my case, I was previously removed from Canada because I was rejected a chance for a refugee claim. Fast forward today, I successfully managed to come back to Canada for studies with an ARC application.

Would my previous record impact my PR applications, even though my PGWP and TRV applications have been within the time limit so far?
