When submitting application online at IRCC portal as a provincial nominee . (NOT express entry), Do we need to submit medical exam result upfront or should we submit application and wait for IRCC instructions to get medical exam? IRCC website seems to be not very clear about this.

You can submit while submitting application or if you haven’t done medical exam before, they will request it while processing.
BACK SIDE PHOTO QUERY - I submitted my NON EE application few days back. But I just uploaded front digital photo in my application. And now I have seen so many places on the internet that everyone is talking about 2 things here. 1) some people are saying - at the time of application submission, front digital photo is enough. Back side with date of birth and photo studio address is needed to be uploaded when IRCC ask for new set of photos during portal request. 2) some people are saying you need to upload front digital photo and receipt of photos from studio and upload them at the time of application submission. So now I want to know is it really mandatory to upload receipt or back side of photo during application submission? How many of you got their application returned / got AOR by just uploading front digital photo. Please reply both questions above.
You were supposed to submit front and back however if you only submitted front, your application won’t be returned due to this issue.
Hi I have 2 process going on PR and extension of my work permit. On the PR I am stuck on the "we are reviewing your elegibility" for a whole more than 1 month and on the work permit I am stuck on the Background check. Does that mean when one have the answer they share the outcome with the another?
I recommend contacting IRCC to request a Temporary File Number (TFN) and then using it to raise a webform submission, including both the front and back pages of your Photo. This will help prevent your application from being returned. I received P1 on 3rd October and replied the email same day.
I still did not receive P2. I replied the same email one more time 2 days ago as it passed more than 2 weeks but no response from IRCC.
What is your suggestion? What is the current time to get P2 after P1 and COPR after P2?

Currently portal 2 email is taking really long times and also depends on office working on your application. Timeline is 2-8 weeks .
My friend got P2 mail on last friday , he submitted P1 on 25th Sep
And my Friend just got P2 mail. He submitted P1 on 26th Sep.

I had applied for the Non-EE Employer Job Offer PR application on 08 Dec 2023.
Got AOR on 08 March 2024.
PAL and Medical request in April 2024.
Couple of ADRs in May
All the requested documentation and Medical, Biometrics were submitted complete by June 2024.
When I check my status, it says: If we need for information or once the final decision is made, we will inform you.
But my application is under Security check.
I called the customer support, and they informed that the security check started on 08 July 2024.
I asked them if there was any mention of CBSA and CSIS or is it under comprehensive check and they said there is nothing of that sort mention.
I asked them if I order a GCMS notes would I be able to get more info and their response was the GCMS notes will not provide anything more than what they have said.
Do you recon this is a normal security check and how can I get more information about my application.

Yes this is normal security check . Your GCMS notes won’t show anything regarding security screening. Best option is to order CBSA notes .
How security screening works, It depends on the IRCC officer if he wants to send you for a security screening due to your application hitting one of the indicators in their system
so they sent you for a security check, first, your files go to CBSA and then CBSA sends it to CSIS, once CSIS confirms your security is concluded and the file has been returned to CBSA, now your file is with CBSA, your gcms notes will start showing security in progress by CBSA, and once CBSA did their part they will send your file back to IRCC and then IRCC officer will make a decision.
so in easy words IRCC=>CBSA=>CSIS
