Student Permit Processing while in Canada as Visitor

Hi!
I would like to ask regarding Student Permit processing. I have an on-going Student Permit application thru IRCC portal. I am still waiting for the next update. Can I go to Canada as a visitor visa and once I have an update or have been approved in my student permit application, can I process it in Canada? And I’ll just leave Canada once I have my permit and return to Canada as a Student?

Is there a reason you want to come as a visitor? Can you show ties to your home country, reason for visit and enough funds to support your visit in Canada without working? A TRV doesn’t guarantee entry into Canada.
