SOWP Refusal

Please my husband and daughter got denied, I am in Canada already. We applied before the new law concerning SOWP was passed. They got denied because the IRCC said they didn't believe I am in school, and truthfully while applying for them, I didn't submit all the necessary documents about my schooling. But now I have all the necessary documents, so we submitted a reconsideration form and attached all the documents. My question is how long does it take the IRCC to respond to a consideration?

There are no timelines for reconsideration. You should have reapplied because you were refused because you didn’t include all documentation. Reconsideration is for an error in law, and you explain why they should have been approved in the first place. You will only know if you get an email that says the file is reopened. Expect to wait 30+ days for acknowledgement.

Also you now are under new rules so make sure you show POF for 3 people. It may be refused if not in Masters/Phd program.
