The last update I received was an information letter stating that the file is being transferred to Montreal, this was last November 24, 2023.
I regularly check mycic account every now and then. But I noticed last March 2024, that the status as Medical passed on July 2023 was not showing anymore. I requested gcms notes and got a copy after a month.
And this is what it just shows:
ASSESSMENTS
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
HIRV:
Criminality: In Progress
Org Crime:
Medical: Passed -Expired
Misrepresentation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:

Its frustrating. And they’re going to send invites again soon.

First time posting on this thread and happy to inform that my mom is scheduled to arrive in Calgary by 06 June 2024. After 3 years of processing, we finally will be united. Too bad my father passed away June 2021 (due to covid) and I was not able to bring him over. But I'm sure he is happy now that mom is coming over after 3 years of being alone back home.

This forum helped me migrate to Canada way back in 2011, now its helping me again on my parent sponsorship.

Thank you to the many diligent people posting here about latest information to help each other out. Praying that all your waiting will be over soon and get that goal of reuniting with your families here.

Hi I just wanted to ask if someone here have the same experience, my Mom passed her Medical Exams without any additional test (sputum and/or additional x-ray), but we received the IMM 0535 Medical Surveillance form with S code 2.02. I believe its probably because my Mom had TB lymphadenitis way back in the 70's which is a lump on her neck, after the operation and testing it shows there was TB bacteria. She got treated and never had any issues unto this day. I just want to ask if what will be the procedure here in Canada, will she undergo sputum test here. Maybe someone here in the forums have the same experience or knows what will happen when she landed and also for us to prepare. Thank you.

Hi, she would be given a medical surveillance letter and given a number to call when she lands, once she makes that call, they would let her know when to come for the testing, it is usually not a problem. As long as she calls upon landing, she has done her part for IRCC's satisfaction

Do parents need to fill Form BSF 186 and 186a (Goods to accompany and goods to follow form) when landing as PR? And how is the interview process at immigration for Parents coming as PR? Any special note to make or specific question they ask?

And by doing that how can I submit new passport info if I apply with the old/existing passport?

I believe you can always provide updates to IRCC for any changes in the documentation required. I would recommend to get their passports renewed at least 6 months before May 2025 then submit this new information to IRCC.
