My status is PCC is under review at indian embassy/consultant from a month and I have not yet received any email that PCC has reached to the police station, my parents checked at local police station but they don't have my file, does anybody can help me in this situation, why my PCC did not got send to police station for verification yet, why does the status shows pcc under review? Anybody faced similar issue before, please help with the timelines

Hi Yash, I just sent an email to pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in and cons.toronto@mea.gov.in mentioning my application number. Will let you know if I hear back anything. Any progress on your application?
I am in the same boat, I have submitted application in person at Toronto on 27th April.
Its still under review at embassy, no updates. Ideally it should move to PCC initiated.
I think elections in India might be causing the delays, Since government staff have to do election duty, these PCC may have lower priority to them. [This is assumption on my part. Let us wait for people to get actual reply. I think we have been told 6 to 8 weeks before PCC issuance so just have to wait for it]

I got my police verification done and from May15th, status of my application is police report is clear, pcc is available for issuance. I am still not receiving it, when I emailed pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in, they replied next day with pcc process is 6 to 8 weeks , I am worried, looks like they don't care about us
I got the PCC delivered today (Postal Application after so many efforts. Avoid Postal Application or apply well in advance (>90 days) Here are my timelines -
16th March, 2024 - Application Submitted on Passport Seva Portal. Called BLS and paid for the postal service on same day and shipping label generated. Also, application fees was confirmed by agent (35.70) which was changed just after a week.
20th March, 2024 - Application picked up by Purolator from home
26th March, 2024 - BLS website tracking says, Application received. Will be reviewed by BLS in 4-5 business days.
02 April, 2024 - Application returned due to change in fees. New fees was 38.70
08 April, 2024 - Called BLS, as returned application was not received yet. Customer care provided the tracking number.
09 April, 2024 - Returned application received.
10 April, 2024 - Got the shipping label generated by calling BLS. (Due to change in fees on their end, got it generated free of cost)
13 April, 2024 - Application dropped at Purolator with new DD of 38.70.
No Status for one week.
23 April, 2024 - ITA for EE received, tension started due to no status change at BLS website.
24 April, 2024 - BLS website said, Application received. Will be reviewed by BLS in 4-5 business days.
01 May, 2024 - Application being processed at Consulate General of India. (File transferred to CGI Toronto, CAT Number generated at Passport Seva portal)
No Status change for two weeks.
13 May, 2024 - Called CGI Toronto, and emailed as well (pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in; cons.toronto@mea.gov.in) and requested to push the application to next stage stating existing ITA.
14 May, 2024 - pcc.toronto replied and asked for proof of ITA, ITA proofs sent, application moved to Police Verification Initiated and requested to get in touch with the local police station of Punjab, India.
21 May, 2024 - Parents in India, approached police station. Respective police officer kept on making excuses (server down, his duty in elections,, will be done by different police station etc) as he was not given seva pani (bribe) after clearing PCC of my spouse.
24 May, 2024 - Police officer approached by a neighbor (Retired CBI Inspector).
27 May, 2024 - Police officer came for verification, asked for seva pani, Provided 1K. He said it is done. But still he kept application with himself. May be not satisfied with the seva pani amount. We thought the application moved to next stage (SP Office in Punjab), but not.
03 June, 2024 - Approached, police officer again, he said he is busy in vote counting.
05 June, 2024 - Approached again with the help of neighbor CBI Inspector. That day he moved the application to next stage.
06 June, 2024 - SP office, moved further, Status of application at Passport Seva portal - Police Verification report is clear. PCC is available for issuance. Same day, contacted CGI Toronto by call and email stating only 15 days left for ITA submission.
Got reply email within same day email from CGI Toronto that PCC has been printed and handed over to BLS for dispatch. Passport seva portal status in evening - Police Clearance Certificate has been printed. BLS status Processing at CGI
07 June, 2024 - BLS status in morning - processing at CGI, Status updated in evening to - In Transit from CGI to BLS
10 June, 2024 - BLS Status in morning - In Transit from CGI to BLS, BLS Status updated in evening- Dispatched with tracking number. (Purolator Express)
11 June, 2024 - PCC received.
