Do you remember since when you stated getting the automated message about background check?
Today finally the automated message changed for me and I got "we are processing your background check" which I wasn't getting before so I'm wondering if PPR is close

Since yesterday we also got the automated message " we are processing your back ground check ". Hoping PPR is close. Can anyone share their experience ?

What are your timelines ???
Do u know how long would IRCC or RCMP takes to finish Background check ???
I think this is the last step mostly before they send PPR email.

Hi all forum members pls help us .in our file cic ask us to do medical for Non accompanying dependent . But our non accompanying dependent dont have passport.and she dont want to make passport and to do medical. Can cic exempt medical for non accompanying dependent..Thanks

Usually, there are no exemptions from this requirement for members of the family class or their family members, accompanying or not.
However, you can try to submit a statutory declaration stating that you understood that by the dependent not completing the medical they would be forever excluded from family class sponsorship and you would never be able to sponsor them.

She is NOT a dependent. (also not a non accompanying dependent)
Make sure that she is not included in IMM0008 and explain to IRCC that she is 37 and married and is NOT a dependent.
She doesn't need to go through medical.

Yup, definitely not a dependent in that case, not even a non-accompanying one. Make sure you make that clear to IRCC.

Do you mean the length of validity of the PR visa? Most likely it is the same as the expiry date of the medical exam, which in your case should be Aug 2024.

My quoted 30 days is for the passport to be submitted for visa stamping and the validity of the visa issued is valid before the medical expire which for me is 3 months

I received PCC, Medical Request, Details of Government Services, IMM5669, IMM5562 for my Father and PCC, Medical, IMM5669 for my Mother. I need to submit these online via IRCC Online account. My Question is

Does my father need to create account under his name or I need to create account under my name as I'm the sponsor?

Just fill up the form with updated details and send it to the address mentioned in the email/letter that you received from IRCC

Would send in a webform indicating that she is not a dependent so no medical is needed and there seems to have been an error made and please remove the medical request.
