Hi guys,

I have a quick question to ask. If any of you could answer it I’d greatly appreciate it.

I applied for PR for my wife through spousal sponsorship and she got AOR, medicals and biometrics done. The application is in progress.

Now I am planning to apply for a Super Visa for my mother. She’s widowed.

Can I include the total members in family as 2 (mother and me) or 3 (mother, me and wife)?
Do I still need to count my spouse in for Super Visa application since she isn’t in Canada?

I have to mention the current family members in my Mom’s Super Visa application in order to meet the family income requirements.

Do you mean the length of validity of the PR visa? Most likely it is the same as the expiry date of the medical exam, which in your case should be Aug 2024.

My quoted 30 days is for the passport to be submitted for visa stamping and the validity of the visa issued is valid before the medical expire which for me is 3 months

Want to understand couple of things:
1. What should i provide for travel history request which they asked only for 2022-23. Should i provide them with Passport pages with stamp or something else?
2. PCC will be done through BLS application which states it could take upto 8 weeks to process. The letter from IRCC states i need to submit the documents in next 7 days. How do i do that?

1. You just need to fill up the travel information form, I think it's the IMM5562E one.
2. You can ask for an extension to the deadline, and include proof that you have applied for the PCC if available

Hi Guys

There is an update on online portal, the status changed from submitted to "Application updated" and then when I go in, the message is "We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you"

and I don't see any update now under "Review of medical results". It's just blank.

Earlier it use to say "Medical results received on May 8. 2023."


How do I interpret this statement, anyone had similar situation?
Should I expect medical test again?

I recently updated the address of my parents as they arrived on Visit Visa on Feb 1. 2024.

It's possible that they extended the previous medicals for him for an additional year if they believed that he is low risk due to his young age. You can call IRCC to confirm.

When I call IRCC I get automated message update that they are conducting background check not start yet but Eligibility - passed
Anyone with the similar experience?

Do you remember what date you started getting the automated message about background check?
Today finally the automated message changed for me and I got "we are processing your background check" which I wasn't getting before. Now I'm wondering if PPR is close
