India PCC from Toronto

I have a question. I am doing my PCC thru post and I am confused about the exact fees for demand draft. BLS website says $35.70 but there is another instructions doc that says $41.40. There is also a disclaimer in homepage that says.

With Immediate Effect, postal applications need to have demand draft of BLS Service fees as $1.70 in favor of “BLS International Services Canada INC.” for all Passport, Visa and OCI applications.

Can someone who did PCC recently thru post tell me which is correct? What is the exact fees that I must get DD for?

I’m sharing my PCC timeline.

27 Dec- Submitted documents through Purolator
4 Jan- Documents received by BLS
12 Jan- Application under process at BLS
23 Jan- PCC under review at CGI
24 Jan- received an email from CGI that police verification has been initiated
3 Feb- Police verification report is clear and PCC is ready for issuance
5 Feb- emailed on CGI’s email address and explained my urgency, attached Invitation letter and screenshot of how many days left for me to accept the invitation
5 Feb- got a reply back saying that PCC processing time 6-8 weeks
6 Feb- emailed them again saying that all my processing has been completed, just waiting for you guys to print the PCC
6 Feb- didn’t get reply back from them but status changed to PCC has been printed
7 Feb- in transit from CGI to BLS
8 Feb- with purolator
9 Feb- received my PCC

Try emailing them for sure, if you really have few days left to submit the documents and your status is “PCC IS CLEAR AND READY FOR ISSUANCE”

Sharing my PCC timeline. I applied through the postal service BLS option (Brampton).

12/12/23 -- Postal pick-up through Purolator
15/12/23 -- Documents received by BLS Brampton
21/12/23 -- Processing at CGI/HCI
02/01/24 -- Police Verification has been initiated and a request has been sent to Indian Embassy/Consulate. PCC needs to be collected from the Indian Embassy/Consulate where the applicant applied after a 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at the Indian Embassy/Consulate. -- status in passportseva in portal
06/01/24 -- My parents visited the police station (didn't get a call for 4 days so asked my parents to visit), file was already there. Police asked for adhaar card, passport and a photograph as a copy. submitted all the same day
10/01/24 -- pcc is clear and ready for issuance.
04/02/24 -- pcc has been printed
05/02/24 -- purolator in transit
06,07/02/24 -- I hope I'll get it soon.

It took 8 to 9 weeks to get a PCC. [No emails or no calls or no visits]

From where can we get these updates about our PCC?
Mine I tracked the documents sent to BLS via Purolator and it shows package delivered.
So where else can get these updates?

Finally, I got my PCC
(if you guys didn’t get your PCC and your status shows PCC is clear and ready for issuance so try to email them it’s helps pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in)

Thanks for the suggestion. Sending the email here pcc.toronto@mea.gov.in worked for my brother's PCC.

Dec 7th, 2023: Received ITA
Jan 4th, 2024: Applied for PCC from BLS (delayed due to ID/address proof)
Feb 6th, 2024: Submitted PR application to CIC with LOE
Feb 9th, 2024: Online PCC Status updated to "Police verification report is clear. PCC is available for issuance"
Feb 12th, 2024: Send the email at 10:26 pm letting them know the urgency as the ITA deadline had already crossed and the application has already been submitted
Feb 13th, 2024: The Consulate responded to the email with the following message at 10:51 am "PCC printed and handed over to BLS for dispatch". Online PCC Status updated to "Police Clearance Certificate has been printed". BLS status not yet updated

Hopefully, I get it in the next two to three days from BLS

Please advise.

Hello Everyone,

I submitted a PCC application at the Brampton BLS center on June 29. Now that I am tracking the application on BLS and the Government of India's website, I noticed that the wrong date of birth is being displayed.

I rechecked the PCC application form pdf and it has the correct Date of Birth.

I called BLS and all they have to say is "That is just for tracking purposes".

Will it cause problems? I am starting to worry now.

Hii, $37.5 is the correct amount. I called the help centre. You can check my calling the number written on top right corner on BLS website. They answer all concerns, are quite helpful.

Mine is international student stream and processing time is 120days maximum
But I submitted 31st Aug 2023 its been 170days no update no ADR requested and no response from oinp also called them and also put a webform inquiry no update
Been waiting from dec12 last update, DIP, its been more than 60days no update
