Is there a way to know which office is the one processing a specific application?
My guess is Edmonton is the main CPC handling in-Canada TR apps (excl. TRV)? So they unfortunately have a heavy caseload.
It’s just a guess though (based only on the fact that Edmonton is the only CPC on the IRCC website w/ instructions to send these kinds of applications https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/case-processing-centre-edmonton-alberta.html). Hope someone more knowledgeable on this can share what they know.
Speaking of the devil... just got my biometrics validity letter from CPC Edmonton. Guess I don't need to call to find out now.

WP-EXT: Sept 15
Biometrics Submitted: Sept 15
BVL+Eligibility Review: Oct 6
Combining two programs (undergrad + 1-year masters). Will update here once they make the decision.

I have submiited my application for PGWP-ext on paper which was received on July23rd. It's been more than 2 months, and I still have not gotten any decision yet. Does anyone know how long it takes for paper application to be processed? (During the time of my submission it was showing 14 days processing time for paper application)

I have submitted myPGWP application since May 25 and i havent gotten any other correspondence apart from WP EXT letter.
Thanks! The final decision hasn’t been made though (probably due to the long weekend) so I’m still super anxious. Hope they start reviewing your file soon--I can imagine how frustrating this situation is.
It’s my first time doing biometrics for Canadian TR apps. I got my first SP before it was required for my country, and when I applied for the SP and TRV extensions there was the covid exemption for inland applications.
Approved: Oct 6, updated Oct 10 night (definitely after MDT working hours lol). Got full validity.
Hope it is a sign that things will be faster for everyone after automatic processing.

Did you do anything different? like sent web forms, job offer letter, MP?
Thanks! I didn’t send any web forms or contact my MP (tbh I think they’d just ask me to go home and wait if I did). I also didn’t include my job offer in my app (my uni’s RCIC says it’s not required). The only additional doc I submitted is a LoE outlining that I completed two programs.
