Hi, if anyone has applied for a visa from Italy through the new portal, please share the status here.

I sent my request on September 12
I went for biometrics a few years ago and until now the status of my file has remained the same (biometrics received).

Do you have a US visa or had a Canadian visa? Processing is around 127 days.

I gather you are not an Italian citizen...

Italians do not need to acquire a visa to travel to Canada, but they will need to apply for an ETA.

You will find only a few people on this forum who applied from Italy as most are citizens and don’t need a TRV. You are within normal processing times, so if you don’t get a response by January then raise a webform.
