Falun Gong (the guys who do Shen Yun, its really fun to watch!) are almost ALWAYS protesting against CCP or distributing pamphlets about how Chinese government is killing them and selling their organs. And often they attract counter protest by supporters of CCP.

There are pro Hong Kong and pro Mainland conflicts and clashes in Vancouver.

In May 2009, a Sinhala-Buddhist temple in Scarborough was set on fire, allegedly by LTTE supporters, and a worshipper claimed that the incident was part of a global pattern of violence against Sinhalese wherever there were mass Tamil demonstrations. However, a Tamil protest leader denied that anyone in her community would resort to such action.

Honestly, if they just cut back on level of international students, the feeling of there being so many Indians will stop, because current Indians will get more settled, spread out across Canada and get tired of events.

The best solution is to crack down on degree mills and McColleges who are franchise of a big name university. These are brining down the quality of education in Canada and should be closed. All of them are shady as hell.

In 1980s, there was exactly the same feeling in USA. "Japanese are buying everything! They are going to take over USA."
Heck there was a movie based on Michael Crichton's novel called Rising Sun( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rising_Sun_(Crichton_novel) ).

Among the other things, it showed that Japan has bought 90% of Hawaii and 75% of LA. It frightened a lot of leaders of that time.

You cannot have a country if majority of its people don’t abide by its laws and constitution. That’s what the concept of integration is. What you’re calling for is the destruction of a nation and open borders lunacy. Canada doesn’t want nor expects immigrants to drop their native language, food and festivals to adopt European heritage. That’s what assimilation is. On the other hand, integration is respecting and abiding by a country’s laws, constitution and speaking one of its official languages. Indians and other immigrants bringing ethnic conflicts from their home country runs contrary to Canada’s constitution and laws. How the hell do you hope to have a country in the near future if the people you import don’t give a crap about your laws and actively shit on them?

I think what you are saying mirror exactly what exactly Americans used to say about Irish immigrants. They used to be referred as smelly, used to live in cramped spaces, were accused of not following the law, etc. America isn't destroyed yet. No reason to believe that Canada will turn to shit either.

Also, Indians aren't out there committing serious crimes(comparatively less) and that makes me think otherwise. About ethnic tensions - take a step back from this and think how has that impacted your life financially or health-wise. Unlikely it will impact you or anyone at all. I occasionally do think about bad immigrants and self-hating immigrants and their potential impact on my life (both are equally bad imo) - but all it comes down is to me as an individual and what I can do. I've zero reasons to hate anyone fwiw.

Not because there are so many job openings but because the pilots keep leaving. I wonder why .

I can understand that point of pilots leaving. I have 2 cousins who received their PRs around 2016 lived in Canada for a few years and ran away after becoming CAN citizens. They were cargo pilots in Asia and the middle east before migrating to Canada.
The only reason they came here is to get Canadian passports, because it supposedly helps fetch a higher pay than a Asian passport holder. In Dubai/Qatar/Abu-dabi etc..they get paid 3-4 times the Canadian pay and cost of living (rent, food etc..) is half of Canada. Hence a lot of pilots do this it seems.

The one caveat of so many Indian Hindu nationalists coming is that they will probably tend to vote conservative. If they can play a major role in the toppling of Trudeau and upset the woke lefties of this country, I say bring more! More Indians!

Even-though your wish is logical, I doubt that is happening in real. I often read many articles, that right-wing Indians in the USA and Canada actually lean towards left e.g. vote for Democrats in the USA. The reason is most rightwing parties in North-America have loads of racist agendas and left/Democrats are more supportive of racial minority rights.

BTW this is complete opposite of what China does. Chinese tourists are very important for some nations. Chinese govt. uses that as a huge bargaining chip.

JT has royally fucked up:

2. He publicly named a diplomat and put a target on them and their family. That's against the protocol for handling diplomats. While we wait for him to present any evidence(which would most likely be inconclusive at the end), we know for sure that diplomat is now a target without the proof of being guilty.

I don’t think this is a case of minority appeasement. You do realise classified information received from national intelligence agencies cannot be released to the public. It would be idiotic for him to release it to the press until it gets declassified. Intelligence agencies in Canada are not politically affiliated and have an information sharing network with the CIA, FBI, MI6 etc. From what I understand, the issue was raised to the Indian government weeks back through diplomatic channels but it was shrugged off. I’m no Trudeau fan but he’s 100% right. An assassination by a foreign government on Canadian soil undermines Canada’s sovereignty and none of the political parties in Canada are supportive of that. In fact, this would unite all Canadians, left and right, against India. It’s already done that. It has got to be the most idiotic move made by the Indian government in ages since they neither have the espionage capabilities of the US nor Israel. Once the information is made public, it could sour India and West relations.
