Mine is next Tuesday, video ceremony, I asked if I can get it in person as there are two in person events the same day at my local office, no reply, but saw an update on my tracker today but nothing changed, will call them to see if it still same date. Sorry guys don't get mad of me, I have been dreaming of this moment since day one I planned to move to Canada, so why not giving it a shot

GHOST UPDATE FOR ME TODAY!!

Any knowledge about ghost updates before LPP completion? I had a ghost update on August 12, after the test was completed dec 6. (BG already done before test).

I did a bit of searching after getting my ghost update yesterday. For some, they get an update within a week, for others it's a month+ and they still don't have anything after their GU.

GU is better than no update... while it's not as good as others that have LPP complete, it's still SOMETHING. At least someone has touched our file!

I should add that the day I got my GU I also got a receipt of sending my webform a few days before, which was based on @ada228 's advice. I am also waiting on my third GCMS notes (almost has been 30 days), and I requested CBSA notes a couple of weeks ago too.

So far i did urgent processing with no results, (illness of family member), a lot of webforms and all I get is generic replies. Emailed MP about it and nothing happened no response from MP. 4 GCMS notes and I applied for my 5th today.. also emailed the office many times and obviously I got no response.

That's no good that your MP didn't respond, mine did right away and his office contacted IRCC that same week for me. I live in a rural area so maybe he doesn't get as many requests as some of the others might?

I called IRCC and looks like LPP is not started yet. Like usual, they told me to contact them again in another month or so (after 18 months period is over).

They told me the same thing two days before all turned green! actually tracker showed everything completed on the same day I called them!

save this as is as a contact, don't press anything after calling, at the end they will either say "we are currently experiencing high volumes of calls" (hang up and call again) or they will say "your call is important to us" (which means you made it) hahah I am expert now, called them this morning, just love to bug them from time to time, will miss IRCC agents !!!

Yeah thats normal, that is what I mentioned, wait all these messages to go then you will go through, just wait and you will get the messages I mentioned
