Query on dependant for WP through company

Dear Members,

I have applied for WP through my company, my visa got approved. However, my daughter(6 yr old) got request for additional documentation(spouse consent form). I have submitted it almost 20 days back still no update on the dependent visa decision.

I am a widower, so I have submitted the death certificate of spouse along with affidavit with notrary stamp on it saying, I am the natural guardian and I will be with the daughter while we are in Canada.

Could you please let me know how many days it may take to get the update on the dependent visa.

There is no such thing as a dependant visa as you would have applied for a study permit for her since she is school age. No one can tell you time lines for review of documents, and response.

Thanks for quick response. I received update from attorney saying my kid visa got approved, waiting for passport submission request letter to be generated.

Could you please suggest how many days it may take for passport request letter to be generated.
