I contacted my MP last week (even though I'm not at 19 months yet... I thought it couldn't hurt).

They have already contacted IRCC for me and as expected "It's within the standard processing time" and "there's nothing you can do but wait" was the response.

If only IRCC was as prompt as my MPs office...

its the easiest job that anyone can get, being an IRCC call agent!!! collecting paychecks and saying the same canned answers!!!! 19 months my a$$!!! 2023 applicants already got their passports!!!!

I just got off the phone with IRCC agent, same BS, your application still within processing time and you have to wait, nothing pending from your side, office needs to run verifications, I asked when was the last time my officer touched my application he said he can't share that with me I said can you leave a reminder to my officer to run verifications asap, he said he can't as I still within the 19 months D

The transparency setting on IRCC's Photoshop application is always set to zero.

FYI, once your application crosses the normal processing time, they will switch to the next excuse: your application is non routine and standard processing time doesn’t apply

if that happens, I will go and protest these mfs!!! I will make a big stink of their process and show the media how stupid is their quality control

It’s pretty wild that we pay 600CAD+ for this application & service (not count indirect payment through taxes etc) and they act as if we are animals begging for something for free and don’t deserve transparency or client service Sorry for the rant but not impressed with this either.

That what happens when officers deal with applications (not normal applications) without any minimal supervisory!! or any performance reviews!! tomorrow morning will order another GCMS notes!! and will keep bugging them until they do something!! I will also request that my application to be assigned to a different officer!!! this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

I will also request that my application to be assigned to a different officer!!! this is ridiculous!!!!!!!!!!

I just requested another set of GCMS notes (I just got my first set last week). I plan to keep doing so every month until there is progress...

Did you ask the ircc official for an e-certificate because I first sent them an email for e-certificate but got a reply to reschedule my oath for e-certificate and then I asked the officer on the ceremony and she approved it immediately and I received the instructions to download the certificate in 10 minutes and that was my experience

Yes I did...I asked during the ceremony while checking in with the clerk and they told me it was not possible.

Hey guys! Just checked my tracker and my ghost 2 March just changed to July 8 updated, however absolutely nothing changed, LPP still in progress, only background completed and test passed in Jan 2023. Does anyone have something similar and does it mean there is finally some movement?
