I remain doubtful about the whole thing.

Have they created a special TRV application process for family reunification? If not, anyone applying on that basis will simply be sending off what appears to be an ordinary TRV application that will be tossed on the pile, awaiting a decision and unless it gets a hard look (which almost never happens), the visa officer won't even recognize it as seeking family reunification.
That's what happened to me back in 2021. There was a program for reunification of fiancées during COVID. I applied for my back then fiancee for her to join me , and there was no enough evidence that she will go back to Morocco. So why did they do this sort of application when they were going to process it like a tourist visa. I don't get it. The reunification is for Already married spouses to join their family and make it easy, but if it goes back to the TRV file, then there's no point in wasting time and applying again. Honestly there's no enough evidence to show that they will process it faster. If it falls back to the case processing office in a particular country, then it goes back to the same pile, and you will keep on waiting

I also got my PPR Today applied on 2nd June, can you please suggest if i have to get the return ticket or one way?
I have read here that some airlines do require you a return ticket. Understandable, since you are only on a TRV. Book a refundable return ticket or a very cheap one that you can cancel once you land in Canada.

Did you get your PPR for a TRV? If that is so you need to purchase a return ticket! You will not be able to fly without it. Purchase two tickets with the return ticket being refundable and cancel the return leg once you enter Canada. Hood this helps.

While generally a good idea, just to note that this is not a formal requirement of Ircc. It is something that some airlines ask for but not all.

It would rarely be the case, for example, from USA or many EU countries (because so many travellers have visa waivers).

based on my experience and those I know, return tickets rarely come up. Can't speak to what others have experienced. Would also note that seems to be changing over time as internet makes purchasing tickets and last minute travel easier.

You can apply as his representative by signing the imm5476. I did that for my wife. You can follow this link from IRCC.
https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=009&top=4
when you apply and go through all the questions, the system will ask you to provide this form if you choose to use a representative.

Hi guys. With the announcement from Frasier. I am thinking of applying a trv for my spouse and dependent. It says on the website it will only take 28 days for processing if its approved or rejected.

My question are what are the chances of my spouse and dependent getting approved for trv? She has a very small business of online selling used clothes. And recently she started working for a company that do online order of food based in US. She owned a fairly new car. Unfortunately our house is only named after me.

I have more than $40k cad to show financial capability to support them for trv. I want to submit this as soon as possible while i’m here in my home country for vacation.

Thanks in advance.
This is the portal I used to start the application.
It will be his application.
thank you!
