What does this document expiry date refer to?

I submitted my passport 2 days ago and got an update yesterday. My application is approved but I'm confused about this "document expiry date"
Under the document status the expiry date is set to 2025/12/30, what does this mean? My study program is 4 years+, so why is this expiry date after 2 years?
It is also the same date on the welcome letter.

Not an issue and very common. You will apply to extend it two months before expiry.
