Passport number in my US visa renewal application has changed

I submitted my application for the US B2 Visa renewal back in late 2021 and in the application I had put the passport number of my passport that expired last month.

I have received a new passport last month with a new number and I was wondering if the US consulate would have any issues with the passport number being different?

My interview with the consulate is in around 2 weeks time.

You can change your passport number.
No worries with old application. Just change at booking page
