I am planning to apply for a student visa for Canada and my parents are planning to visit my sister at the same time. Should I let them apply first or have them apply after submission of my application? Does that make any difference?

How old are you? What are you trying to study in Canada? What is your sister’s status?

21 years wanting to study Engineering and sister is a citizen

Have you already done. a degree? Have your parents ever visited your sister in Canada or is this their first TRV? Do you have any other siblings? Your parents should wait until you see if you can get a study permit before applying for a TRV. If they have a TRV your application for a study permit will be more difficult and if you get a study permit there will be concern about their TRV application. There will be general concern that either group will not return home.

Hey thanks for the info also my parents have never visited her and also I am a recent graduate. What are some other things to consider while applying for student visa ?
